HOBAN Recruitment is partnering with a valued client to recruit an organised and detail-focused Administration / HR Officer located in South Strathfield Sydney.
This role is ideal for an experienced administrator who enjoys HR-related work, data management, and supporting people processes in a professional office environment.
Our client is a global leader in logistics and supply chain solutions, operating across 90+ countries with a strong presence throughout Australia. They deliver end-to-end services across air and sea freight, contract logistics, warehousing, distribution, and project cargo, supporting customers across retail, manufacturing, e-commerce, industrial, and mining sectors.
Following a major global acquisition, the organisation is entering an exciting phase of operational integration and continuous improvement, focused on scale, efficiency, and service excellence.
About the Role
In this varied administration and HR support role, you will be responsible for:
- Providing administrative support across HR functions
- Preparing salary review correspondence using Word mail merges
- Data cleansing and maintenance of employee records
- Setting up and maintaining employee folders in SharePoint
- Filing and managing confidential employee documentation
- Using Excel for HR reporting, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
- Supporting general administrative tasks as required

About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Proven administration experience, ideally with HR exposure
- Strong Microsoft Word skills, including mail merges
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs and pivot tables essential)
- Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- A proactive and reliable approach to work
