Your responsibilities will include:
- Assembling machinery and sub-assemblies to engineering specifications
- Installing and integrating mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components
- Performing precision fitting, alignment, and adjustment activities
- Conducting functional testing and quality inspections
- Identifying and resolving assembly issues and non-conformances
- Maintaining accurate production and quality documentation
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment safely
- Contributing to a safe, efficient, and high-performing workshop environment
You're a hands-on problem solver who enjoys technical work and takes pride in delivering a quality result.
You'll bring:
- A trade qualification in Mechanical, Automotive, Diesel, Fitting & Turning, or a related discipline
- Experience in machinery assembly, manufacturing, agricultural equipment, heavy industry, or similar environments
- The ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems (highly regarded)
- Confidence using workshop tools and equipment
- A proactive, safety-focused approach and strong teamwork skills
- Forklift Licence
- Experience working with agricultural machinery or mobile equipment
