Internal Review Officer

We're seeking a motivated and detail-oriented APS5 level Internal Review Officer to join a dynamic team delivering high-quality decision review services within a government agency. This full-time, in-office role based in Colac, Vic is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about fairness, compliance, and service improvement.
As a key member of the internal review team, you'll play a vital role in assessing and reviewing decisions, ensuring they align with legislative and policy frameworks, and supporting continuous improvement in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of internal review requests
- Conducting evidence-based assessments and preparing recommendations
- Liaising with individuals and stakeholders to gather relevant information
- Communicating decisions clearly and professionally
- Monitoring timeframes and ensuring timely resolution of cases
- Supporting quality improvement initiatives and reporting
- Contributing to team collaboration and knowledge sharing
What We're Looking For
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
