Production Assosciate

HOBAN Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Production Associate – Level II to join our client's manufacturing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing or production experience who enjoys working with machinery, maintaining high quality standards and contributing to a safe and productive team environment.

About the Role

As a Production Associate – Level II, you will operate manual and automated machinery and production equipment to manufacture and assemble products in accordance with quality, productivity and safety requirements.

Working with limited guidance, you will be responsible for achieving production goals, maintaining required cycle times and ensuring products meet the required characteristics and dimensions.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate manual and automated production equipment safely and efficiently
• Manufacture and assemble products to required specifications
• Follow standard work, process documentation and quality procedures
• Perform quality inspections and identify non-conforming materials
• Work towards production goals and required cycle times
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work area
• Complete routine housekeeping, machine cleaning and planned operator care tasks
• Identify and report equipment issues and work with skilled trades and support teams when repairs are required
• Identify and report workplace hazards, incidents and safety concerns
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Complete required HSE and other workplace training
• Contribute to improvements in quality, safety, processes, material flow and employee development
• Perform other duties as required to support production goals

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, or intermediate-level knowledge gained through education, training or on-the-job experience
• A strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production equipment
• The ability to operate machinery safely and follow established procedures
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• The ability to identify and control non-conforming materials
• A proactive approach to health and safety
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to work with limited guidance and take accountability for your work
• A willingness to complete ongoing training and personal development
• The ability to work collaboratively with production teams, skilled trades and support staff
• A high school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience
