Warehouse & Operations Coordinator

Our client, a global manufacturer with an established presence across Australia is now expanding its direct operations in Tasmania. This is an exciting opportunity to become a key part of that growth from the beginning.
Based in Cambridge, you’ll be the go-to person for the Tasmanian operation, taking ownership of day-to-day warehouse activities while building strong relationships with customers and stores across the region.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, your role will include:

• Picking and packing customer orders
• Managing stock and maintaining an organised warehouse
• Merchandising and replenishing stock within stores
• Visiting customers and stores throughout your territory
• Building strong relationships with existing customers and providing exceptional service
• Processing orders through SAP

What we're looking for
This role will suit someone who is comfortable working independently and takes genuine ownership of their work.
You’ll ideally bring:

• Previous warehouse or stores experience
• A reliable, proactive and self-motivated approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Excellent organisation and the ability to manage your own day
• Confidence interacting with customers and store teams
• A willingness to learn systems
• A forklift licence would be advantageous, but is not essential

Previous sales experience would also be highly regarded. While this is not initially a sales-target-driven position, there may be scope for the role to develop into business development as the Tasmanian operation grows, including participation in a sales incentive program.
