We’re looking for an experienced Service Coordinator to take ownership of the day-to-day coordination of workshop and field service operations, supporting technicians and ensuring customers receive responsive, high-quality technical service.
Our client is an established heavy machinery and equipment provider, delivering sales, servicing, repairs and technical support across the construction and earthmoving industries.

About the Role
Reporting to the After Sales Manager, you’ll use your hands-on technical knowledge in a coordination and leadership capacity, managing workflow across both workshop and field service operations.
You’ll be the link between customers, technicians and the wider business – prioritising jobs, allocating work, troubleshooting technical issues and keeping service activities moving efficiently.

About the Role

You’ll be the link between customers, technicians and the wider business – prioritising jobs, allocating work, troubleshooting technical issues and keeping service activities moving efficiently.
What You’ll Do
- Coordinate and allocate daily workshop and field service jobs
- Prioritise workloads and maximise technician utilisation
- Provide technical support and assist with fault finding and machinery issues
- Coordinate servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance
- Monitor job progress and respond to changing customer priorities
- Support and coordinate service technicians across workshop and field operations
- Raise and close service jobs, purchase orders and invoices
- Maintain accurate service documentation, reporting and job records
- Provide responsive and professional support to customers throughout the service process
- Trade qualification in Mobile Plant, Heavy Vehicle, Earthmoving/Industrial Mechanics or similar
- Experience post-trade experience within the earthmoving industry
- Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic capability
- Previous experience coordinating, supervising or leading technicians/workshop operations
- Strong planning, prioritisation and problem-solving skills
- Confident communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple jobs and changing priorities in a busy service environment
