Key Responsibilities
- Lead preventative and reactive maintenance activities across the site
- Manage building services including HVAC, electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems
- Coordinate contractors, maintenance programs, site upgrades and capital works
- Ensure critical infrastructure and essential services remain operational
- Own the site’s WHS function, driving compliance with legislation and company standards
- Lead safety initiatives including audits, risk assessments, incident investigations and continuous improvement
- Deliver safety training, contractor inductions and toolbox talks
- Manage site services including security, cleaning, waste and pest control
- Oversee maintenance budgets, supplier relationships and contractor performance
- Support business continuity through effective facilities and infrastructure management
- Proven experience managing facilities, maintenance or site operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong contractor management and maintenance planning experience
- Knowledge of building services and essential infrastructure (HVAC, electrical, mechanical or plumbing)
- Sound understanding of Australian WHS legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience leading safety programs, audits and incident investigations
- Relevant qualifications in facilities management, engineering, trade or WHS (highly regarded)
- Experience working in a regulated environment (advantageous)
- Current driver’s licence and the ability to support occasional after-hours site requirements when needed
