Our client is a growing neuroaffirming, multidisciplinary clinic committed to providing holistic and inclusive supports to neurodivergent children and young people. Their mission is to reduce barriers to accessing care by offering all therapy services in one location, supporting clients and their families through a collaborative, wraparound approach.
The team includes Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Art Therapists, Music Therapists, Allied Health Assistants, and administrative staff. They are grounded in the social model of disability and place strong value on connection, wellbeing, reflective practice, and sustainable ways of working.
This role is ideal for an experienced clinician passionate about people leadership, staff wellbeing, and building supportive systems that allow therapists to do their best work.

Key Responsibilities
People & Team Leadership
- Provide day-to-day leadership and support to a multidisciplinary team
- Hold monthly one-on-one meetings with therapists to support wellbeing and career development
- Support staff through performance reviews, goal setting, and reflective conversations
- Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new team members
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and neuroaffirming workplace culture
- Liaise with senior leadership regarding staffing and team needs
Operational & Program Leadership
- Assist with planning and coordination of school holiday programs and group services
- Contribute to service development and quality improvement initiatives
- Support communication and collaboration across disciplines
Clinical
- Maintain a reduced clinical caseload aligned with leadership responsibilities
- Provide neuroaffirming, relationship-based therapy
- Complete assessments, reports, and documentation as required
- Liaise with families, schools, and other stakeholders
About You
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Speech Pathology
- Full AHPRA or Speech Pathology Australia registration
- Experience in paediatric and/or NDIS settings
- Strong people skills and genuine interest in staff wellbeing
- Experience mentoring or supporting other clinicians
- Neuroaffirming and trauma-informed approach
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
- Current Working With Children Check, Police Check, driver's licence, and CPR certification
- First Aid training or willingness to complete
- Right to work in Australia
Highly Regarded (Not Essential):
- Previous experience in team leadership or people management
- Experience contributing to policy and procedure development
- Lived experience of neurodivergence
