As an Occupational Therapist, you'll empower children to participate meaningfully in their daily lives. Using a strengths-based, client-centred approach, you'll assess functional abilities, identify barriers, and deliver tailored interventions that promote independence, wellbeing, and engagement. You'll work across multidisciplinary environments and play a key role in enabling children to reach their full potential.
About the Role
In this role, you'll deliver high-quality paediatric OT services across clinic, school, home, and community settings. You'll have the opportunity to shape your caseload based on your interests and strengths while working closely with families, educators, and allied health colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of functional, sensory, cognitive, and developmental skills
- Interpret assessment results and develop clear, evidence-based recommendations
- Develop individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings and client goals
- Set measurable, achievable goals in collaboration with children, families, and care teams
- Deliver clinic, school, home, and community-based interventions
- Work within a multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, speech pathologists, educators, and medical practitioners
- Coordinate care plans, attend case reviews, and maintain strong communication with all stakeholders
- Maintain accurate, timely notes and client records, ensuring compliance with organisational, ethical, and professional standards
- Prepare reports for NDIS, healthcare providers, insurers, and schools

You'll Bring:
- A relevant Bachelor degree or Masters and AHPRA registration
- Strong communication and rapport-building skills
- Excellent organisational skills and confidence managing a varied caseload
- A commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing learning
- A valid driver's licence
