Warehouse All-Rounder | Automotive & Industrial Paint Industry
Full-Time Position | Monday to Friday | 7:30am - 4:00pm
Are you a hands on, reliable and customer focused individual looking for a long term career opportunity?
We are seeking a Warehouse All Rounder to join a growing and well established business operating within the automotive and industrial paint industry.
This is a genuinely varied role that would suit someone who enjoys being a true "jack of all trades." Reporting to the Site Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day to day operations of the business while working closely with customers, suppliers and the wider team.
You will support customer sales activities while becoming involved in many different areas of the business. The company imports aerosol paints, manufactures specialised paint products and supplies a broad range of automotive and industrial refinishing products. As a result, there is significant variety and plenty of opportunity to learn.
During your first month, you will spend time completing customer deliveries and becoming familiar with the products, customers and business operations. As your knowledge grows, you will become more involved in warehouse activities, including picking, packing and preparing orders. Over time, you will also be trained in processing email orders, preparing invoices and using internal systems.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Mixing automotive and industrial paint products
- Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders
- Delivering products to customers
- Receiving and processing incoming stock
- Booking freight and coordinating deliveries
- Assisting customers over the phone and via email
- Processing orders and supporting general administration
- Supporting the Manager with the day-to-day running of the business
About You
We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys working as part of a team and is willing to roll up their sleeves and help wherever needed. This role would suit someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys balancing customer service, warehouse work and operational responsibilities.
To be successful, you will have:
- A current Driver's Licence
- An LF Forklift Licence, or be willing to obtain one
- Previous experience within the automotive paint, industrial paint, panel beating, refinishing or a related industry
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Good computer skills and confidence learning new systems
- A reliable, organised and proactive approach
- The ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
What's on Offer?
This is an opportunity to join a successful and growing business that has built a strong reputation within its industry. The team is small, friendly and supportive, with a collaborative culture and exceptionally low staff turnover. Comprehensive training will be provided, and there are genuine opportunities to take on greater responsibility as your knowledge and experience develop.
If you're looking for a stable, long term role where you can build your skills, contribute to a great team and grow with a successful business, we'd love to hear from you.
