NSW State Transport Manager

NSW Transport Manager for a large tier one billion$+ industrial manufacturing & distribution business, with sites all across Australia.

The role's key functional responsibilities are focused towards the maximisation of returns to the business by leading implementation of Transport and Logistics strategies / plans / project initiatives; ensuring consistency and alignment with the overall business plan. Reporting through to the State Business Manager, the role will develop, coach and champion a continuous improvement culture ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of the transport and logistics function across all NSW sites (6).

As a business, they are seeking a highly capable logistics leader with a strong track record in managing transformational change across Transport operations. The ideal profile will be a hands-on operator who can lead domestic logistics, while driving safety, compliance, and operational excellence across the NSW network. This role demands someone who has strong leadership capability, has both fleet and carrier management exposure alongside strong allocations experience.

Suit candidates with direct hands-on transport/3PL operational experience with a good understanding of the commercials and key metrics build into contracts. Leadership role, however this has a strong strategy, C-I, change management focus.

What's on offer: $170k - $200k package + company car + STI.
