Production Planner

Our client, a leader in advanced manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Production Planner to join their high-impact team. This is your chance to play a critical role in scaling operations as they launch a second production line to support major contracts.

What You'll Do
- Liaise with Engineering, Production, Logistics, and Procurement to align manufacturing inputs with engineering change requirements.
- Analyse engineering change impacts including feasibility, cost, and timing - ensuring ISO9001 compliance.
- Optimise PFEP setups and generate pick lists to minimise line shortages.
- Support MRP development and scenario planning to navigate supply base constraints.
- Manage BOM structures, parent/child relationships, and make/buy decisions to support internal routing and supplier scheduling.
- Provide technical reporting and support ad-hoc planning tasks.
About you:
- 5+ years' experience in Production Planning within complex manufacturing environments.
- Strong background in BOM creation and management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Project; SAP B1 / S4 Hana experience desirable.
- Solid understanding of ERP/MRP systems and supply chain inputs.
- Ability to interpret 2D/3D engineering data and translate it into actionable production plans.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Bonus Skills:
- APICS certification
- Power BI experience
- Engineering qualification (desirable but not essential)
