As Operations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving this vision forward. Partnering closely with the Factory Manager, you'll oversee daily operations, optimise production performance, and empower teams to deliver products that stand the test of time. Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Guide and mentor fabrication and assembly teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Stakeholder & Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders. Manage expectations proactively, facilitate clear communication, and ensure all parties remain informed and engaged throughout project lifecycles.
- Operations & Scheduling: Oversee production workflows, project timelines, materials, and logistics to ensure seamless delivery across residential and commercial projects.
- Technical Expertise: Serve as the go‑to expert in aluminium window and door manufacturing, installation processes, hardware, and troubleshooting.
- Customer Service: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to manage expectations and ensure exceptional customer experiences.
- Safety & Compliance: Uphold industry standards, building regulations and workplace safety protocols across all operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven background in aluminium window and door fabrication and installation.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, installation techniques, hardware, and small parts. Experience using V6 Window & Door estimating software is also highly regarded.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with diverse teams.
- Problem‑Solving: Skilled at resolving complex operational and on‑site challenges with confidence and clarity.
