We are seeking a proactive Customer Service & Inventory Coordinator to support hospital sites across Victoria. This is a highly mobile, field-based role for someone who enjoys autonomy, variety, and being extensively on the road working directly with healthcare stakeholders.
You will play a key role in ensuring hospitals have the right products, in the right place, at the right time.
About the Role
This is a Victoria-based field operations role with extensive daily travel between metropolitan and regional hospitals.
You will be responsible for supporting hospital inventory accuracy, managing consignment stock, and ensuring timely product availability for clinical use. Acting as the key operational link between hospitals and internal supply chain teams, you will help resolve stock issues and support urgent supply requirements.
This role is primarily performed on the road and on-site at hospitals, with no fixed office base.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage hospital consignment inventory including stock levels, replenishment, and usage tracking
- Conduct routine and ad hoc stocktakes across multiple hospital sites
- Identify and resolve stock discrepancies, expired stock, and variances
- Support hospitals with ordering, open sales orders, and urgent supply requests
- Deliver emergency stock to hospital sites as required
- Travel between multiple hospital locations across Victoria daily
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite)
- Work closely with internal supply chain and demand planning teams to ensure continuity of supply
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, cold chain handling, and quality standards
About You
- Experience in field operations, inventory control, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, logistics, or supply chain
- Strong understanding of stock management including expiry, batch/lot tracking, and cycle counts
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite highly regarded)
- Confident working autonomously in a mobile, field-based role
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Comfortable with high levels of daily travel across multiple hospital sites
- Strong communication skills when engaging with clinical and hospital stakeholders
- Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable personal vehicle are essential (must be willing to use your own vehicle daily - car allowance provided)
