As an Inventory Controller, you'll play a key role in maintaining inventory integrity and ensuring seamless warehouse operations across the Redbank QLD Logistics site. Working within a dynamic and supportive team, you'll help drive accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement to keep customer operations moving smoothly.
In this role you will be responsible for conducting daily inventory checks, stocktakes, and discrepancy investigations, maintaining WMS databases, generating weekly and monthly reports, and liaising with internal teams and external service providers to ensure operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining accuracy of inventory through daily cycle counts, stock investigations, and reconciliation.
- Identifying, reporting, and resolving stock discrepancies, ensuring data integrity within WMS systems.
- Supporting stocktakes, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
- Liaising with customer service, warehouse, and management teams to ensure accurate reporting and efficient stock movement.
- Preparing weekly and monthly inventory performance and KPI reports with analysis and commentary.
- Promoting a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement within the warehouse environment.
About You
You're a proactive and analytical professional with strong attention to detail and a passion for accuracy. You thrive in fast-paced logistics environments and bring a mix of technical expertise and teamwork to every challenge.
You will have:
- Experience in inventory control within logistics or 3PL operations.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to build relationships across teams.
- Knowledge of LEAN principles and a drive for process improvement.
- A forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one).
