HR Generalist

We are looking for a friendly and motivated HR Generalist to join our client's team and help support day-to-day HR operations. This role is ideal for someone who wants to step up from an HR Coordinator,HR Support or HR Assistant position and take on more responsibility in a hands-on, people-focused HR role. You'll provide guidance and support to employees and managers, acting as a first point of contact for HR-related questions.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, building strong relationships, and helping employees and managers feel supported in their workplace.
What You'll Be Doing:
Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers, providing support on HR policies, workplace matters, and day-to-day employee concerns
Build strong, approachable relationships across all levels of the organisation, including white- and blue-collar teams
Support managers with coaching and guidance on performance, engagement, and conflict resolution
Participate in employee engagement initiatives and activities, helping to create a positive workplace culture
Be involved in onboarding and induction sessions, ensuring new employees feel supported and welcomed
What We're Looking For:
Minimum 3 years' experience in an HR support, HR Coordinator, or HR Assistant role in Australia
Good understanding of Australian HR practices
Experience supporting both white- and blue-collar employees is a plus
Friendly, approachable, and culturally aware
Confident handling sensitive matters with professionalism
Well-organised, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
Able to commute with your own car and work on-site 4-5 days a week (Monday to Friday)
