Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Establish and manage a Warehousing and Logistics recruitment desk across temporary and permanent recruitment
- Build trusted partnerships with clients across the North Island
- Regularly visit warehouses, distribution centres and logistics operations to understand their teams, processes and workforce requirements
- Partner with warehouse managers, operations managers and hiring managers to deliver responsive recruitment support
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle, from receiving a vacancy through to placement and ongoing account management
- Strengthen client relationships through regular communication, reliable service and on-site support
- Identify opportunities to provide additional workforce solutions to existing and prospective clients
- Source, screen, interview and place candidates across warehousing, transport, logistics, distribution and supply chain operations
- Recruit for roles including pick packers, forklift operators, storepeople, process workers, dispatch staff, inventory controllers, drivers, supervisors and warehouse managers
- Develop and maintain reliable talent pools to support high-volume and urgent workforce requirements
- Coordinate onboarding, reference checks, compliance and placement administration
- Monitor placements and provide ongoing support to clients and candidates
- Deliver an exceptional experience throughout the recruitment process
- Previous recruitment experience, ideally within warehousing, logistics, transport, supply chain, manufacturing or industrial recruitment
- A sound understanding of warehouse and logistics environments would be highly regarded
- Strong relationship-building and client account management skills
- Comfortable meeting clients and regularly visiting operational sites
- Confident managing temporary labour requirements, permanent vacancies and changing workforce demands
- A genuine interest in understanding clients’ operations and workforce challenges
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities
- Proactive, resilient and service-focused
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Unrestricted New Zealand working rights with no limitations on working hours
