Our client is a highly regarded 5-star Japanese airline with a strong global reputation for exceptional service quality and operational excellence. They are currently looking to appoint a driven, customer-oriented Airport Officer / Ground Staff professional to support ground handling operations at Sydney Airport.
This role is central to the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-standard airport operations. You will work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders in a dynamic airport environment, ensuring smooth operations while consistently providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
· Supervise and coordinate passenger handling, ramp activities, and flight operations
· Ensure all operational tasks are completed efficiently and within designated time frames
· Provide office support and administrative assistance as required
· Lead and supervise entrusted service providers as an airline representative
· Perform ad-hoc duties as required in a dynamic and multitasking environment
Your Profile
· Minimum 3 years' experience in airport operations or customer service
· Previous supervisory experience in a similar role will be highly regarded
· Relevant experience within the aviation or related industries is advantageous
· Strong command of English (written and spoken); Japanese language skills are an advantage but not necessary
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
· Proactive, self-motivated, and a strong team player
· Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
· Adaptable and receptive to industry changes
Working Hours
Shift-based role with rotating schedules:
· Morning shift: 6:30am - 2:30pm
· Afternoon shift: 2:30pm - 10:30pm
· 7.5 working hours per shift (30-minute break)
