About the role

As a Chef, you’ll contribute to the delivery of high-quality catering services for a wide range of stakeholders. The work is varied — from bulk meal preparation through to high-level catering.

Key responsibilities include:

• Menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and presentation
• Preparing a broad range of meals, from large-scale catering to formal dining
• Managing dietary requirements and food standards
• Ordering and managing stock within budget
• Maintaining kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
• Monitoring wastage and conducting stock takes
• Maintaining kitchen equipment and resources
• Supporting the wider catering team as required

What you’ll need

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
• Experience working in a professional kitchen or catering environment
• Willingness to cook a diverse range of meals and styles
• Strong food safety, hygiene, and organisational skills
• Australian citizenship
• Current driver’s licence
