We are seeking a customer-focused Service Coordinator to manage hospital consignment inventory and support product availability across Queensland. This is an autonomous, hands-on role suited to someone with experience in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, inventory control or field-based supply chain operations.
About the Role
Working primarily across hospital sites, you will act as the key operational contact for hospital procurement, supply chain and clinical teams. You will manage consignment stock, conduct stocktakes, coordinate urgent deliveries and ensure critical products are available when required for patient procedures.
The position involves frequent driving between metropolitan and regional hospital sites, with administrative tasks completed remotely while working in the field.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage consignment inventory across assigned Queensland hospital accounts.
- Conduct routine and ad-hoc physical stocktakes and update inventory records following each visit.
- Monitor stock levels, movements, batch and lot details, expiry dates and product availability.
- Investigate and reconcile stock discrepancies, missing products and expired inventory.
- Coordinate replenishment, stock rotation and corrective actions for slow-moving, excess or expiring products.
- Act as the primary operational contact for hospital supply chain and procurement teams.
- Build strong relationships with hospital stakeholders and provide responsive onsite support.
About You
To succeed in this position, you will ideally have:
- At least two years’ experience in field operations, inventory control, hospital consignment, medical devices, pharmaceutical distribution, healthcare logistics or a related environment.
- Strong knowledge of stocktakes, inventory reconciliation, cycle counting and order-fulfilment processes.
- Experience managing batch, lot, serial and expiry-controlled products.
- Strong ERP experience, with NetSuite highly regarded.
- Strong customer service and stakeholder-management skills.
- The ability to work autonomously, manage changing priorities and respond calmly to urgent customer needs.
- A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel frequently between hospital sites.
