About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Operation / Production Manager to join an innovative and high-impact sustainable planting project. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a large-scale environmental initiative focused on reforestation and biofuel production

This project has attracted significant attention and support from both the oversea and Australian governments, offering a rare chance to be involved in a meaningful and future-focused business.

You will play a key role in leading and managing plantation operations across Queensland while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with external contractors and research teams, including monitoring seedling growth
• Manage land preparation and monitor site conditions
• Arrange and liaise with contractors for planting operations
• Conduct site visits and work closely with Site Managers
• Oversee production planning and operational management
• Track project progress and deliver regular reports (including web meetings)
• Liaise with Queensland Government stakeholders

Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a candidate with experience in:

• Plantation or forestry operations
• Production and operational management within the agriculture sector
• Seedling and nursery management
• Managing large-scale plantation projects
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
