Junior Accountant

We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join a growing logistics and freight forwarding business in Gregory Hills, NSW. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stage of their career-including recent graduates-who is eager to build their accounting experience within the logistics industry. You will work closely with an experienced team, receive full training, and have clear opportunities for career growth.

About the Company
Our client is an established logistics and freight forwarding company specialising in:

• Ocean and air freight

• Customs clearance

• Warehousing and distribution

With continued growth, they are looking for a detail-oriented and energetic Junior Accounting professional to support their expanding operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and in a timely manner.

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, ensuring accurate records in CargoWise and other systems.

• Support month-end and year-end reporting processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries.

• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for internal and external audits.

• Assist with payroll, billing, and other general accounting duties as required.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve accounting queries and support business operations.

About You

• CargoWise knowledge/experience is essential.

• Early stage of career (1-2 years of work experience or graduates are also encouraged to apply).

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

• Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

• Full working rights in Australia (Citizen or Permanent Resident).

• Able to commute to Gregory Hills, NSW.
