Maintenance Inventory Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a conscientious Maintenance Inventory Coordinator to support our Maintenance team by ensuring accurate inventory control of spare parts and materials across maintenance storage areas, including racks and warehouse locations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate SAP inventory records, monitoring stock levels, verifying incoming deliveries, and ensuring all maintenance materials are correctly recorded, stored, and available when required.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, improving stock control processes, and supporting the smooth operation of our maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory records within the SAP system, ensuring physical stock aligns with system information.
• Ensure maintenance spare parts are correctly labelled, processed, stored, and entered into SAP.
• Conduct regular stock counts, including monthly maintenance spare parts stocktakes and weekly spot checks.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, making system adjustments where required.
• Verify and confirm incoming deliveries of maintenance spare parts and reconcile delivery documentation.
• Ensure spare parts are allocated to the correct storage locations in line with inventory control procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements, usage, damages, and losses.
• Prepare reports on inventory levels, stock variances, and identified issues.
• Support continuous improvement of maintenance inventory control processes.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and records.

Key Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
• Mechanical Engineering experience desired not required
• Experience in inventory control, warehousing, stores management, or a similar role.
• Experience using SAP or other inventory management systems is highly desirable.
• Ability to conduct stocktakes and investigate inventory variances.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with maintenance and warehouse teams.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety practices.
