Steel Production Machine Operators

Location: Laverton North
Roster: Monday to Friday

HOBAN is currently seeking experienced and reliable Steel Production Machine Operators to join our client's manufacturing team in Laverton.

This is a hands-on role suited to candidates who are comfortable working in a busy production environment. The position involves physical work, including repetitive lifting, and requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.

Available Shifts (Non-Rotating):

• Day Shift: 6:00am - 2:06pm - $36.25 per hour
• Afternoon Shift: 2:00pm - 10:06pm - $41.69 per hour
• Night Shift: 10:00pm - 6:06am - $40.00 - $47.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate steel production machinery safely and efficiently
• Monitor production processes and maintain quality standards
• Load, unload, and handle steel products and materials
• Perform repetitive manual handling and lifting tasks
• Conduct basic machine checks and report any issues
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organised production area
• Work effectively within a team to meet production targets

About You:

• Previous experience in steel manufacturing, production, or machine operation is highly regarded
• Comfortable performing physically demanding tasks
• Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work Monday to Friday on a consistent shift
• Experience operating industrial machinery is advantageous
