Mandarin Speaking IT Service Desk Analyst

We are currently seeking a Mandarin Speaking IT Service Desk Analyst to join a global US-based pharmaceutical company on a 9-month full-time contract (paternity leave cover).
This role is based in Mulgrave, Victoria, offering a flexible hybrid working arrangement.
About the Role
In this position, you will provide IT Service Desk support primarily to employees based in China, while working from Melbourne. You will be the first point of contact for IT-related enquiries and play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day technology operations across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level IT support to end users
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Support mobile devices including phones and iPads
- Manage and resolve IT service requests and incidents
- Assist with user account and system access issues
- Deliver excellent customer service in Mandarin and English
- Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support teams when required
- Handle any ad-hoc duties requested by manager
About You
- Fluent in Mandarin and English (written and spoken)
- Previous experience in IT Service Desk or IT Support role
- Good troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and mobile devices
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment
- Full working rights in Australia (Australian citizen, PR, Partner, Post Graduate etc)
