(Roads & Drainage - Senior Leadership Role)

Base Salary $160,000 + Super | Vehicle Provided | Relocation & Housing Support

This position is offered as a preferred 3-year contract, with a 12-month project appointment considered for the right candidate.

We are seeking an accomplished Infrastructure Manager / Manager Civil Works to lead a critical period of transformation within our Infrastructure Services Department. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced civil engineering professional who thrives in complex operational environments and is motivated to deliver meaningful, long-term change.

Reporting at an executive level, you will take ownership of the Works function, leading significant structural, cultural and operational reform while ensuring the safe, efficient delivery of major civil works programs across roads, drainage and related assets.

The Opportunity

This pivotal role will see you:

• Lead teams through significant structural and operational change
• Set clear expectations, drive accountability, and uplift workforce capability
• Embed new systems, processes and governance frameworks
• Oversee the delivery of complex civil works programs, including roads and drainage
• Communicate confidently and effectively with internal teams, contractors, community and political stakeholders
• Build a high-performance, safety-focused and outcomes-driven culture

About You

To be successful, you will bring:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or equivalent senior civil infrastructure leadership experience)
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in civil engineering, roadworks and/or drainage
• Proven leadership capability within complex, multi-disciplinary operational environments
• A track record of successfully delivering change and managing large civil works programs
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across technical, executive and political settings

Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years' civil engineering experience (roads and/or drainage)
• Demonstrated senior leadership capability
• C Class Driver Licence
• White Card / Blue Card
