HR Truck Driver with Loader Experience - Gundagai (TfNSW Contract)

Location: Gundagai, NSW
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 3 months with potential for extension
Pay Rate: $45.69 per hour (PP6)
Hours: 8.5 hours per day / 76 hours per fortnight
Work Structure: 9-day fortnight

About the Role

We're seeking a skilled HR Truck Driver with Loader experience to join the Gundagai Construction Crew with Transport for NSW. In this role, you'll assist with construction and maintenance activities, operate machinery, and help transport crew members and equipment safely to worksites.

This is a hands-on position suited to someone with a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate HR truck and smaller vehicles for crew transport and material delivery.
  
• Undertake construction and maintenance duties as directed by the Team Leader.
  
• Operate machinery such as loaders, rollers, and other plant as required.
  
• Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
  
• Carry out RW3 duties and assist with site setup and pack down.
  

Requirements

• HR Driver's Licence (or higher).
  
• White Card (General Construction Induction).
  
• WOF ticket (Worksite Traffic Management).
  
• Traffic Controller (TC) ticket - or willingness to obtain.
  
• Demonstrated ability to operate loaders and other plant machinery.
  
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
  

Additional Information

This position requires camping away from the Gundagai Depot at times.
