HOBAN Recruitment is partnering with a Federal Government Department to recruit Driver & Security Attendants to support a secure government facility on the Bellarine. We are recruiting for casual, part-time and full-time roles.
Undertaking a broad range of duties with a security focus, tasks include visitor management, driving, customer service and maintaining a safe, well-run environment.

About the role
You’ll work across driver and security attendant duties, supporting the safe and efficient operation of the facility.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving a range of vehicles, including a 24-seat passenger bus mainly in the Geelong and Melbourne area
- Processing and managing visitors
- Monitoring access points and issuing visitor passes
- Conducting patrols and inspections as directed
- Providing a friendly point of contact for staff and visitors
- Assisting with emergency responses and evacuations if required
- Completing basic reports and maintaining accurate records
- Providing first aid assistance when required
You’ll be part of a casual pool, offering flexibility and the opportunity to pick up shifts as needed, with potential for longer-term opportunities.
What we’re looking for
- Australian Citizenship (mandatory)
- MR or HR driver’s licence (required)
- Ability to drive a bus and ensure passenger safety
- Strong communication skills and a calm, professional manner
- Good personal presentation and customer service focus
- Availability to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays as required
Qualifications & licences
- First Aid (Level 2) – required (can be obtained after offer)
- Victorian Commercial Passenger Vehicle Driver Accreditation – or ability to obtain
- Previous experience in driving, customer service, facilities or security-adjacent roles is highly regarded, but not essential
