HOBAN Recruitment is recruiting for the role of Retail Sales Assistant on behalf of our client, located in Campbell, ACT.

About the Role
As a Retail Sales Assistant, you'll be the welcoming face of the organisation-helping visitors find meaningful keepsakes and learn about Australia's military history. Working within a high-performing retail team, you'll ensure a first-class customer experience across both in-store and online environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering exceptional customer service and building rapport with visitors.
- Meeting and exceeding sales targets through strong product knowledge and promotional selling.
- Assisting with stock control, replenishment, and visual merchandising.
- Maintaining a professional and welcoming shop environment.
- Processing sales using POS systems, handling cash, EFTPOS, and completing reconciliations.

To be successful, you will have:
- Proven experience in retail or customer service, with a focus on exceeding expectations.
- Strong POS and cash-handling skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure.
- A flexible, reliable approach to work, including availability on weekends.
- (Desirable) Knowledge or interest in Australian military history and visual merchandising.
