Position Overview:
As a Warehouse Worker in the Inventory Team, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate stock levels, organizing inventory, and ensuring smooth warehouse operations. You will be using SAP software to manage inventory movements, process orders, and update records. A strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive work ethic are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inventory control tasks including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
- Accurately track and update stock levels using SAP software.
- Monitor inventory movements and ensure proper documentation is maintained in the system.
- Assist with order fulfillment, picking, packing, and staging products for shipment.
- Conduct regular stock audits to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment, particularly within an inventory team.
- Proficient in using SAP software for inventory management and tracking.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Inbound: validating container deliveries, scanning LPNs into the WMS, and investigating discrepancies.
- Outbound: ensuring accurate dispatch, scanning LPNs to fulfil orders, applying new OLPNs to pallets, and scanning outbound loads.
- Inventory: performing system reconciliations, cycle counts, variance reporting, and resolving stock discrepancies promptly.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift certification (if applicable).
- Experience in shipping and receiving processes.
- Familiarity with other warehouse management software.
