Forklift Driver
Location: Adelaide
Work Type: Casual
Pay: $34.54 per hour
Hours: 30-38 per week (subject to workload)
Shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday (30‑min lunch break)
We're currently seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join a reputable construction materials supplier based in Hendon. This is an ongoing role with the strong potential to become permanent for the right person.
About the Role
You'll be operating a 4.5‑tonne forklift, handling a variety of materials including fence posts, and assisting with loading and unloading containers. Forklift usage will vary from 30% of the day to full‑time, depending on daily needs.
When not on the forklift, you'll assist with:
- Manual handling tasks, including two‑person lifts up to 32kg
- Moving construction blocks and materials
- Pick packing
- Stocktaking duties
What We're Looking For
- Current and valid LF Forklift Licence
- Experience operating high‑capacity forklifts (4.5T preferred)
- Comfortable with manual handling and team lifts
- Reliable, punctual, and safety‑focused
- Willing to take on a mix of forklift and general warehouse work
- Looking for long‑term opportunities
