Burial & Plaques Attendant

Join a dedicated team in a meaningful role as a Burial & Plaques Attendant, supporting families during sensitive times.
This position involves assisting with burials, interments, and memorial installations at Kulangoor Cemetery and various sites.

• Competitive rate of $41.25 per hour
• 1-month assignment with potential for extension
• Minimum 4-day availability, Monday to Friday, 7am - 4pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare graves and ash sites, including excavation and setting interment equipment.
• Liaise with funeral directors and customer care teams.
• Intern cremated remains in the absence of family.
• Assist with exhumations as per safety protocols.
• Operate machinery, including rigid motor vehicles and excavators.
• Conduct grave care activities and basic horticultural maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety and Environmental Protection regulations.
• Complete daily documentation and report operational matters.
