You will be the face of the practice. As a Medical Receptionist you will be the heartbeat of patient care-welcoming every visitor with warmth, keeping the clinic running smoothly, and creating a seamless experience from check-in to checkout!

The Medical Receptionist, is the first point of contact for all patients, clients and Doctors entering the practice and will provide exceptional front-desk support and ensure a smooth experience for our patients. As the first face people will see, you will play a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming environment while managing the daily operations of our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Engagement: Greet patients with professionalism and empathy, assisting with check-ins, registrations, and general inquiries.
- Appointment Coordination: Schedule and manage patient appointments, ensuring efficient use of clinic time and resources.
- Administrative Support: Maintain and update patient records, process billing and payments, and handle insurance claims where necessary.
- Communication Management: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and liaise between patients, doctors, and healthcare staff.
- Office Organisation: Ensure the reception area remains tidy and presentable, while managing office supplies and medical forms.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working within a medical practice
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and medical professionals.
- Excellent organisational abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Previous experience and proficiency in medical software, appointment systems, and basic administrative tasks.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Prior experience in a medical or healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
