Crossing Supervisor

We are currently looking for multiple School Crossing Supervisors across City of Yarra Council to join our team in 2025.
As a School Crossing Supervisor your key role will be to help children, parents, and community members safely across the road, teach them how to use a crossing safely and provide a courteous service to pedestrians. Hours of work will be rostered at the start or end of school days.
Locations available:
- Carlton North
- Fitzroy North
- Abbotsford
- Richmond
- Clifton Hill
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Assisting children, families, and pedestrians to safely cross at children's crossings and traffic lights
- Report all incidents, accidents, near misses and potential risks
- Maintain a high level of awareness and professionalism.

Successful candidates will have:
- Currently hold, or be willing to obtain, a Working with Childrens Check & Clear Police check
- Driver's Licence and have access to a reliable vehicle (ideal, but not a necessity)
- Availability Monday to Friday, from 7.30am to 9.00am and 2.30pm to 4.00pm.
