HOBAN Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Strategic Communications Officer (APS6 level) to join our client's dynamic team in SURRY HILLS SYDNEY NSW. About the Role:
As a Senior Strategic Communications Officer, you will lead a team responsible for delivering strategic and engaging marketing and communication initiatives.
Your work will focus on enhancing engagement, driving behaviour change, and ensuring accessibility and inclusivity in all communications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading by example and serving as a trusted communications expert.
- Crafting clear, concise, and effective messaging, including speeches and talking points.
- Developing and delivering comprehensive communications plans and go-live collateral.
- Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships and addressing emerging challenges.
- Evaluating communication impact and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Ensuring all materials align with branding and accessibility guidelines.
- Providing technical, policy, and operational support to the team.

- Understanding of the Disability sector and its impact on participants and providers.
- Experience in government or public sector communications.
- Expertise in issues management and handling sensitive communication matters.
