About the role: As a Parking Officer, you will patrol shopping precincts and residential streets to enforce road rules and issue parking infringements.

Benefits:

• Work with a Local Council
• Location: Camberwell
• $40.79 per hour + super
• 38 hours per week, Mon - Fri
• 1-month contract with potential to extend

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct foot patrols of assigned areas
• High level of fitness required
• Patrol designated areas on foot
• Issue parking infringements
• Enforce road rules and regulations
• Provide excellent customer service
• Manage and defuse difficult situations

About you:

• High level of fitness for extensive walking
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to handle and defuse challenging situations
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
• Knowledge of road rules and regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
