About the Role
As a Human Resource Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, and HR policy implementation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert advice on performance management and discipline issues, including participation in meetings and preparation of correspondence.
- Conducting research and analysis of HR legislation, directives, and policies to provide solution-focused recommendations.
- Delivering presentations and information sessions to leadership teams and staff on HR initiatives.
- Supporting leadership capability, workforce planning, and organisational culture programs.
- Driving excellence in recruitment by participating as a panel member, managing advertisement placement, overseeing pre-employment screening, and coordinating onboarding processes.
- Offering expert HR management advice and project support to enhance business outcomes and achieve corporate goals.
- Producing timely, accurate, and professional documents, including business cases, briefing notes, recruitment advertisements, role descriptions, reports, and presentations.
- Building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships through well-developed communication skills.
- Contributing to HR best practices and quality standards by monitoring performance metrics and managing key records.
- Developing and maintaining work instructions, FAQs, and processes, as well as participating in specialised HR projects.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in human resource management services and advice within an operational environment.
- Strong ability to analyse policies and provide strategic HR recommendations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to recommend improvements in workforce management.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including facilitating HR-related workshops and presentations.
- Experience in risk assessment and issue resolution.
- Ability to develop and maintain expertise in HR systems, policies, and procedures.
Desirable Skills
- Data analysis experience to track HR performance trends.
- Familiarity with workforce planning methodologies.
- Proficiency in HR management tools and systems.
- Experience in recommending and implementing process improvements.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
Eligibility Requirements
- Must hold a current Class C driver's licence.
- Must have full Australian work rights.
