We're seeking an experienced Senior People and Culture Advisor - AO6 to support a dynamic, values-driven team helping athletes on their journey to national and international success.
Role Details
- Role Type - Casual labor hire assignment
- Location - Nathan, South side of Brisbane, QLD
- Rate - $76 + p/h + super
About the Role
As Senior People and Culture Advisor, you will partner with leaders and teams to provide strategic and operational HR support while driving a positive and high-performing workplace culture. This is a hands-on role where you'll tackle complex people matters, deliver key projects, and help shape HR strategy in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Provide expert advice on performance management, conduct, grievances, and complex case management.
- Lead and deliver key people and culture projects within timeframes, applying project management principles.
- Collaborate with leaders to identify people risks and implement solutions that support sustainable workforce outcomes.
- Coach and support leaders in managing complex employee and industrial relations issues.
- Use data and people analytics to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Contribute to the development and review of HR strategies, policies, and programs.
- Promote and uphold the organisation's values, diversity, and inclusive culture.
- Other duties as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong knowledge of Human Resource and Industrial Relations frameworks, employment legislation, and government policies.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior advisory role delivering strategic and operational HR services.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Proven experience coaching leaders through complex people management issues.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage HR data for insights and decision-making.
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (highly regarded).
- You must have Australian full working rights and be able to pass and maintain a clear police check.
