We are seeking a dedicated and motivated APS4 Planner to join our team. In this role, you will play an integral part in supporting service delivery, resolving complex inquiries, and contributing to the effective management of participant plans, all while working within a legislative and regulatory framework.

About the Role
As an APS4 Planner, you will be responsible for providing operational and administrative support in the area of service delivery. You will assist in the planning process, gather information from stakeholders, and make evidence-based decisions to help improve outcomes for individuals and communities. This role involves interacting with internal and external stakeholders, resolving complex queries, and ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery in line with policy and procedure.
In addition, the role requires you to work closely with participants and their representatives to identify appropriate support services, while adhering to legislative requirements and contributing to key performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and assess information from participants and stakeholders to assist in high-quality planning and decision-making.
- Use established policies, guidelines, and legislation to make funding decisions regarding participant plans.
- Work collaboratively with participants and their representatives to identify current and future support needs, while leveraging informal, mainstream, and community resources.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to deliver services and resolve participant-related issues.
- Address complaints and concerns related to participant plans, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
- Complete administrative tasks, including data entry, ensuring accurate records and documentation.
- Contribute to achieving performance targets and key outcomes as defined by the agency.

- A solid understanding of policy, procedures, and practices relating to service delivery in a government context.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to handle complex inquiries and provide clear advice.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes.
- The ability to work independently, while also contributing as part of a dynamic team.

- Australian Citizenship is required.
