Payroll Officer

As a Payroll Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth processing of fortnightly payroll within a collaborative and dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process pay files and manage pay-related processes, including system changes.
- Address complex payroll queries with professionalism and efficiency.
- Perform fortnightly master data entry, timesheet coding, and leave application processing.
- Meet daily targets and contribute to achieving team goals.
- Communicate effectively with internal staff, external agency employees, and clients.
- Identify and resolve issues while working independently and as part of a team.
About You:
To excel in this role, you'll bring:
- Proven payroll experience, with Chris21 knowledge highly regarded.
- Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- A demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Quick learning capability and adaptability to new systems and processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
- Effective communication skills to engage with various stakeholders.
