About the Company

Join a respected local council for this rewarding position as a Labourer Operations. You will be responsible for carrying out a variety of manual labour tasks to support operational activities. This role involves assisting with material handling, equipment operation, site maintenance & ensuring workplace safely.

About You

To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• Relevant tertiary and/or post-graduate qualification
• Technical database certification (e.g., Azure DBA, OCP, MCSA)
• Over 3 years of practical database administration experience in large organisations
• Experience with heterogenous platforms such as Azure, Windows Server, Linux, VMWare, and Veeam
• Proficiency in platform operations monitoring using SolarWinds
• Skilled in platform automation scripting (PowerShell, T-SQL, PL/SQL, Bash, Puppet)
• Extensive database management experience with Oracle and SQL Server
• Ability to resolve complex platform incidents independently and in a team
• Adaptability to changing technical, process, and organisational environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service experiences
• Experience in planning and implementing new platform architecture
• Ability to manage organisational, security, and technical risks
