About the role:
The Safety Partner is responsible for providing work health and safety knowledge and advice to portfolio clients, ensuring a safe workplace and adding value to business units.

- 38 hours per week, Mon - Fri
- 6 months with the potential to extend
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive a safety culture to positively influence morale and achieve a safe work environment.
- Coach and coordinate work health and safety practices and processes.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and review of work health and safety management systems.
- Advise and direct business units and managers on work health and safety processes.
- Eliminate and/or control risks, reduce injury and illness, and improve work health and safety performance.
- Establish and maintain effective business partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct reporting on work health and safety issues, trends, measures, and outcomes.
About You:
- Experience in work health and safety management with a behavioural safety focus.
- Knowledge of current work health and safety legislation, regulations, and codes of practice.
- Proven effectiveness in coaching and developing staff and managers in workplace safety.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands.
- Capacity to implement work health and safety initiatives and manage change.
- Sound analytical skills and the ability to prepare written reports.
- Proven engagement, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
- Preferably tertiary or post-graduate qualifications in safety; essential Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety.
- Capacity and willingness to travel to business and service locations throughout NSW, including overnight stays.
