Trades Assistant

Our client, a leader in manufacturing safety-critical products for commercial vehicles, is looking for skilled Production Assembly Trade Assistants.
Role Overview: As a Production Assembly Trade Assistant, you'll prepare products per customer orders, including fabricating and assembling components, drilling plates, countersinking, buffing, grinding, spray painting, preparing parts for painting, ensuring a quality finish, and welding. On the job training and development is guaranteed but suitable experience and transferable skills are essential.

  Key Responsibilities:
• Fabricate and assemble components as per schedule.
• Drill base, flat, and ripple plates, along with other drilling projects.
• Perform countersinking, buffing, and grinding of plates.
• Spray paint and prepare parts for painting.
• Follow procedures and maintain safety standards.
  Required Experience:
• Current Forklift Licence with recent experience.
• Proficiency in operating swing, jib, and hoist.
• Experience in drilling and/or spray painting.
