Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for driving business growth through innovative sales strategies and strategic partnerships? We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to join their team.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, acquiring clients, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure the successful implementation of business development initiatives. A strong understanding of market trends, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to meeting and exceeding revenue targets are essential for success in this position.
You will:
- Identify and Pursue Business Opportunities. Research and identify potential clients and market segments for business expansion.
- Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and industries.
- Client Relationship Management. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Understand clients' needs, challenges, and objectives to provide tailored solutions and foster long-term partnerships.
- Drive sales initiatives to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Develop sales plans, negotiate contracts, and close deals effectively.
- Continuously monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed to maximize results.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth.
- Develop comprehensive business development strategies aligned with company goals and objectives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of business development plans.
- Collaborate on product enhancements and market positioning strategies.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to increase brand visibility and expand professional network.
- Stay updated on industry developments and best practices.
- Utilize our systems to track sales performance, client feedback, and market trends.
- Generate regular reports and presentations to management, providing insights and recommendations for business growth.
You will have:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field > desirable.
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles. 5 years' experience, ideal
- Strong understanding of sales principles, negotiation techniques, and market dynamics.
- Previous employment in a promotional products organisation is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Positive attitude, problem-solving mindset, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients.
