As a BDM, your role will be to secure new business and grow existing accounts, particularly within medium to large businesses, corporate clients, government agencies, and commercial sectors. You will work in a fast-paced, high-volume industry, ensuring clients have access to the essential office supplies they need.
You will:
- Identify and secure new business opportunities within the FMG office supplies sector
- Manage and expand relationships with existing customers
- Develop and present proposals for corporate and government tenders (highly regarded)
- Work on marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement
- Conduct on-the-road sales visits, client meetings, and product demonstrations
- Provide tailored office supply solutions that cater to client needs
- Maintain sales records and achieve revenue targets in a fast-moving market
We we are looking for:
- Proven work experience in business development, fast-moving goods (FMG), office supplies, or B2B sales highly regarded
- Proven success in securing and growing high-volume accounts
- Strong experience with tenders and contract negotiation (highly regarded)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and target-oriented
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small, dedicated team
