Our client is a specialist pain management practice in Bowen Hills, they are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to manage all aspects of their operations. Role Details
- Role Type - Permanent Fulltime position
- Salary - $85,000 - $105,000 based on experience
- Start - ASAP pending interview and security clearances
- Location: Bowen Hills, Brisbane, QLD
- Shift times: Standard Office hours M-F
About the role
As Practice Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth functioning of our practice while driving growth and excellence in patient care. From financial management to personnel leadership, operational efficiency, and fostering a positive workplace culture, your role is pivotal in maintaining our high standards.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Financial Management
- Coordinate payroll, superannuation, and taxation processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and provide regular reports.
- Manage accounts receivable/payable and enhance practice profitability.
Administrative Support
- Manage A/Prof. Keys' schedule, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare correspondence and ensure seamless calendar coordination.
Personnel Leadership
- Oversee recruitment, scheduling, and performance management.
- Foster staff motivation, professional development, and teamwork.
- Conduct regular training sessions and appraisals.
Operational Efficiency
- Develop and maintain practice policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and maintain equipment.
- Oversee daily operations, cleanliness, and IT systems.
Safety, Quality, and Culture
- Lead risk management and quality improvement initiatives.
- Uphold confidentiality and ensure a safe, inclusive work environment.
- Other duties as required
About you
To thrive in this role, you will demonstrate the following:
Essential
- Proven experience in practice management or healthcare administration.
- Strong financial management, payroll, and accounting skills.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare organisations.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational abilities.
- Current criminal record screening and valid work rights in Australia.
Desirable
- Experience with Xestro practice software or similar.
- Competency in Mac OS and associated software.
- Understanding of Medicare Benefits Schedule and WorkCover Queensland processes.
