Role Overview
We are looking for a Customer Service & Logistics Assistant to join our team. This role involves handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and coordinating logistics to ensure efficient delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Respond to customer inquiries, provide pricing, and prepare quotations.
- Inform customers about stock availability and lead times.
- Follow up on customer inquiries and ensure timely responses.
- Process customer orders and issue invoices and packing lists.
- Provide shipment details to customers and ensure smooth delivery.
- Follow up on payments to ensure timely collection.
- Assist in organising exhibitions and marketing activities.
- Register new customers in the system.
- Perform ad-hoc customer service tasks as needed.
Logistics
- Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure proper supply of goods.
- Organise collections, issue invoices, and provide packing lists.
- Liaise with freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery and avoid delays.
- Manage purchase orders with group companies and third-party suppliers.
- Assist with physical inventory checks (twice a year in June & December).
- Handle ad-hoc logistics tasks as required.
Requirements
✔ Experience in hose & fittings, industrial, or hydraulics industries is preferred
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✔ Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
✔ Positive attitude and strong work ethic
✔ Customer-focused mindset
✔ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
