Role Overview:
Seeking a Logistics Supervisor to oversee our supply chain and delivery operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and exceptional customer service. This role involves managing teams and coordinating logistics to maintain Sonoma's high standards.
The position requires availability from Monday - Friday, 3 AM to 12 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the loading dock, warehouse, and yard, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to HACCP standards.
Coordinate daily deliveries to retail and wholesale clients, ensuring on-time dispatch and optimal route planning.
Lead and support drivers, providing training in WHS protocols and safe handling practices.
Serve as the primary contact for driver and customer inquiries until 7:00 AM.
Assist with planning and special projects during peak periods.
Oversee fleet maintenance, including safety checks, cleanliness, and service scheduling.
Maintain accurate records for delivery runs, vehicle usage, and product returns.
Provide feedback on team performance and manage staffing levels in collaboration with the Head of Logistics.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role within logistics or a related field.
Certifications in warehouse management, WHS, or HACCP are highly regarded.
Proficiency in logistics and fleet management software.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 20kg and perform physically demanding tasks.
Comfortable with prolonged standing or long driving durations.
