Role Overview:
As a Level 1 Technical Support Mechanical Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for customers, working primarily in the Japanese time zone. Your main responsibility will be to provide technical support and troubleshoot issues, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries and technical support.
- Provide troubleshooting and technical solutions to customers.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex issues.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and technical issues.
- Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of customer queries.
- Handle any ad-hoc duties requested by managers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in Japanese (both written and spoken) is essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Full working rights in Australia (PR, Partner, Citizen etc)
- Previous experience in technical support or engineering is a plus.
