We're looking for an energetic, proactive, and communicative leader to drive our projects to success for our client. This is a part-time contract position, requiring commitment of three days a week. This role is based in a picturesque regional area of Victoria (VIC), offering a unique opportunity to work outside the city while enjoying a balanced work-life schedule.
🌟 Core Responsibilities:
- Wood Chip Shipping Management: Oversee the scheduling and logistics of wood chip shipments to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
- Afforestation Business Management: Lead and optimize our afforestation projects, contributing to our mission of global reforestation.
- Carbon Credit Business Management: Manage and enhance our carbon credit portfolio, driving positive environmental impact and generating new opportunities.
- Guidance for Junior Staff Members: Provide mentorship and support to junior staff members, ensuring smooth integration and successful performance.
✨ Ideal Experience:
- Experience in lumber and forestry management is a significant plus.
- Proficiency in basic IT skills (email, Excel, online meetings).
- Strong extroverted personality with excellent interpersonal skills, as the role involves substantial interaction with external partners.
- This position is based in Portland, VIC, and commuting to this regional location is highly desirable.
